Often customers will look for CE marking on a product as an indication of conformance to laid down minimum standards, and therefore a minimum level of quality that other products may lack.

A CE Mark is a symbol that must be affixed to many products before they can be sold on the European market. The mark indicates that a product:

C-TPAT refers to the Customs-Trade Partnership against Terrorism. The aim of C-TPAT is to protect the products from the terrorist attack and helps to protect the supply chain. C-TPAT recognizes that CBP can provide highest level of security. It helps to identify the security gaps and implement best practices and security measure. It ensures the integrity of their security practices.

The C-TPAT Third party service provider must have documented procedures to screen prospective customers for validity, financial soundness, the ability of meeting contractual security requirements, and the ability to identify and correct security deficiencies as needed.
